Join us on September 27th from 11am-2pm for a cake picnic at Belle Âme Vineyard in River Falls! What is a cake picnic? It’s a whimsical, jolly event where attendees bring in their own homemade cake creations (or just come along to taste them), we set up all of the cakes, look at everyone’s creative designs, plan out your tasting experience, and then we cut them up and eat them! Food and beverage will be available for purchase from Belle Âme Vineyard. Tasting boxes and cutlery will be supplied for each attendee.
Make sure to take note of which cakes you like best, because we will be holding a vote! Bring a cake for a chance to win in one of four categories: Most Unique Flavor, Most Unique Cake Design, Prettiest Cake, and Tastiest Cake. Winners will receive a cake plaque award handmade by Helen’s Cake Shoppe and a “One Free Drink” ticket to use at Belle Âme’s Bar de Soleil.
We will also have a SUPER cute cake themed photo op arch backdrop from Breezy & Co. with Amanda Libbie Photo snapping pics of the event. I will post the gallery after the event, so be sure to follow my FB page and/or sign up to my newsletter to see the photos!
Purchase one of two ticket types:
Bring a Cake — $25/person
must bring a cake 6” or larger (homemade or from a small business. NO store-bought cakes please.)
must bring a cake stand or cake plate to display your cake
must bring a knife to cut the cake
must bring a label/card with the flavor of your cake as well as a list of all ingredients
includes a cake tasting box with fork (you may choose 5 flavors)
Taste the Cakes — $35/person
no cake required
includes a cake tasting box with fork (you may choose 5 flavors)
Kids 12 and under are welcome to attend for free with a paying adult (tasting boxes are provided only to paid ticket holders, but feel free to share with the kiddos!). Tasting tickets are required for all guests ages 13+. I would recommend bringing a picnic blanket or chair to lounge in while you eat cake and sip on a bevvy!
